This FREE program will place an icon in your system tray (where it displays the date/time). When you want to start your screen saver that you selected through Windows normal Desktop Properties, you simply move your mouse pointer on top of the ISSHS icon and leave it there. After the number of seconds that you have selected (default is 3) expire, your screen saver will start to run
I personally have seldom used screen savers over the last several years because I could not find a time to set for them that would work well for my use of the computer. If I set the time to ten minutes, it would often start the screen saver running when I was reading or studying something on the screen. If I set the time large enough that it would no longer hinder my work, it would take so long to start that if I left the computer for 10-15 minutes, it would still be there burning the monitor.
Now with ISSHS, I can set the startup time in Windows to 60 minutes which makes it so that the screen saver does not Interrupt Me, but when I leave the computer I only have to move my mouse pointer to the icon and my screen saver is running.
To use ISSHS, download the program and execute the program (as described below in the Install section). Some people simply keep ISSHS on the desktop and others place it in the "My Documents" area. You can keep the ISSHS.EXE anywhere you wish to. Once you have the program where you want it to be located, double click it to launch. If it is the first time you have executed the program it will come up to the Main Screen otherwise the main screen will be hidden and you will need to click on the icon in the system tray (as below) to open it.
